The Jefferson County, Illinois Fiscal Committee discussed the procedures for bill payment in a meeting held last week.
An update on county finances was also discussed, and there were talks regarding the audit of monthly claims. The Payroll Distribution Report and demand claims were to be approved in the meeting as well.
The fiscal committee meets on the Thursday before the full county board meeting. The committee is chaired by Robert Watt, and includes members James Malone, Cliff Lindemann and Jeff Williams.
