The Waterloo City Council is scheduled to consider a street closure request at its next meeting at 7:30 p.m Monday at City Hall.
The request, related to the Third Annual May Music & Market Festival to be held May 7, comes from the Chamber of Commerce. The group has requested the closure of Mill Street between Main and Market streets. It also requests the closure of Main Street between Third and Mill streets and Third Street between Market and Main streets.
In the meeting, the council will also review the site plan for Twice the Ice Vending. The council will also consider the approval of a low bidder for the Third Street Water Main Project.
The council will discuss any action on Ordinance No. 1697, Amending the Revised Code of Ordinances, Chapter 38 Utility Systems and Article I Electric Systems.
Waterloo City Hall is at 100 W. Fourth St.
The next city council meeting will be held April 4.
