The City of Columbia, Illinois will collect tree limbs and other byproducts of spring pruning on April 11.
The limbs should be eight inches or smaller in diameter. This can include prunings, but it should not include whole trees, tree tops, grass clippings, or other yard debris.
Materials should be on the curb by 6 a.m. April 11, and should be placed in a way that doesn't block sidewalks, alleys, or streets. City officials are also asking residents to avoid parking in front of their debris piles to ensure an easy and efficient pickup service.
