The Study Circles Neighborhood Action Group of Carbondale, Illinois will meet at 5 p.m. today, April 4, to discuss the city budget.
The group also will discuss neighborhood reports and the Planning Commission report. Also on the agenda is a review of a first-time homebuyer's education program.
The Neighborhood Action Group is a working group of the City of Carbondale’s Human Relations Commission. It was launched in 2004 as a result of the city’s Study Circles Project. The purpose of the group is to promote, preserve and revitalize Carbondale’s neighborhoods by identifying, researching and organizing on issues of significance to neighborhoods.
