The Anna, Illinois City Council discussed and approved the operating budget for FY 2016-07 at a recent meeting.
The council first reviewed the details of the proposed operating budget and various projects included within it. The vote to approve was unanimous.
The council also approved utility rates for May 1 to April 30, 2017; part-time salaries; and a street closure and parking lot usage application for Union County Chamber of Commerce Annabelle Festival on June 11.
