The Committee of the Whole of Columbia, Illinois met recently to extend the Intergovernmental Agreement between the city and the Columbia Community Unit School District (CUSD) No. 4.
The agreement permits student parking at Bolm-Schuhkraft Park for the 2016-17 school year. The motion was carried unanimously.
The committee also referred the proposed Mixed-Use Development Regulations in a C-2 (General Business) Zoning District to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a public hearing. The committee also agreed to have speed trailers in subdivisions to record the speed and time of day.
