The Carbondale City Council met recently to review and discuss the proposed FY 2017 budget and Five Year Community Investment Program.
The discussion highlighted improvements anticipated for FY 2017 and reductions realized in the proposed budget.
During the discussion, Public Works Director Sean Henry provided details about the new citizen-government interface application, SeeClickFix, which allows citizens to directly report maintenance issues and shows the progress of such items as they are repaired.
The council also approved the purchase of a 2016 heavy duty truck with bed-mounted crane from Vogler Ford of Carbondale for $51,920.
