City of Carbondale Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is scheduled to meet at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26.
The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is responsible for administering all entry-level police and fire examinations, and also for administering all promotional police and fire examinations. The Board also has the authority to uphold, reverse or modify actions taken by the City Manager. The Board serves as an appeal board for any disciplinary action proposed by the City Manager.
