Jefferson County Fiscal Committee to review Prevailing Wage Ordinance

Jefferson County Fiscal Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23.

The Jefferson County Fiscal Committee is a standing committee of the county board. The committee meets at 7 p.m. on the Thursdays before full board meetings. The committee is the parent committee of the county treasurer.

The Fiscal Committee will meet on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., in the Jefferson County Board Room, located in the basement of the County Courthouse.

AGENDA:

1. Public input

2. Update on county finances

3. Discussion on procedure for payment of claims

4. Approval of resolution for proper procedure for payment of claims

5. Request for payment of dues to NACo

6. Approval of prevailing Wage Ordinance

7. Request from County Clerk regarding payment from the State for recording of documents

8. Approval of budget forms and budget timeline for FY 2016-17

9. Establish salary and/or benefit schedule for upcoming election of county office holders – Circuit Clerk, Coroner & State’s Attorney

10. Audit of Monthly Claims

11. Approval of Payroll Distribution Report

12. Approval of Demand Claims

13. Review reports

14. Necessary and proper
