Constituents are invited to a fish fry fundraiser and “BBQ Shindig” at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 30 at the home of state representative candidate Jason Kasiar, located at 8390 US 45 in North Eldorado.
Kasiar is running as a Republican candidate for District 118 of the Illinois House of Representatives.
The more attendants in a group, the merrier, as donation prices become pro-rated as the number of persons in a party increases. Individuals pay $20; couples pay $30; and families with up to five members can chow down for $50.
Supporters can become an official “Friend of” Kasiar by contributing $118 or more, and other types of sponsorship are also available upon request. Those interested in attending whose schedules don’t permit can make an online donation instead by going to http://www.jasonkasiar.com/donate/.

Kasiar and incumbent Brandon Phelps were both unopposed in their respective primaries. Kasiar, a business owner and a pharmacist, announced his candidacy in February.
“Together we will win this campaign and take Southern Illinois’ vote back from the Chicago elites and special interest groups,” he said, stressing that the government must be accountable to stakeholders.
