Registration for fall youth soccer in Marion is underway.
The recreation program fee is $40 per child, while the RecPlus fee is $99 per child through July 30. After July 30, the cost per child goes up $15. Registration closes Aug. 5.
The RecPlus program includes two advanced-training sessions a week, at least four professionally refereed games against area teams, guaranteed entrance and playing time in two tournaments, additional friendly games with area competition, and a jersey for home and away games.
There is only Pre-K in the recreation program. That division has one half of game time dedicated to practice; there are no practices during the week.
Volunteer coaches and paid referees also are needed for fall soccer. No experience needed.
