Metzli Heck of California has agreed to play volleyball for Morthland College, a report on RidgecrestCA.com announced.
Heck, a setter, played 24 matches last season for Cerro Coso in the California Community College Athletic Association, reported the league's website. She had 493 assists for a 6.16 per-set average, and 43 service aces for a 0.54 per-set average.
Heck also had 42 kills, 105 total attacks and a .371 hitting percentage.
The Patriots had the program's inaugural season in 2015. Morthland got the first victory in program history when it beat Lincoln Trail College in three games on Sept. 28, 2015. The Patriots had three wins in their first season.
Morthland teams play in Division I of the National Christian College Athletic Association.
