Motion: Approve the minutes of the Local Liquor Control Commission meeting of June 14, 2016

2. General Business of the Local Liquor Control Commission

Action: 2.1 Applications for three Class F1 liquor licenses (temporary - beer and wine only) for Carbondale Tourism on August 13, August 26, and October 21, 2016

Motion: Approve the three Class F1 liquor licenses for Carbondale Tourism.

Motion by Jessica Bradshaw, second by Carolin Harvey.

Action: 2.2 Application for an A2 liquor license (Restaurant - beer & wine) from Sabor de Mel, LLC

Commissioner Loos asked about modifying the City Code to allow lawful permanent residents to hold a license. City Attorney Snyder noted citizenship was a State requirement. Melba Gastal responded to inquiries regarding changes to the layout facility.

Motion: Approval of a Class A2 liquor license for Sabor de Mel, LLC at 607 South Illinois Avenue, contingent upon receipt of all outstanding items
