The city of Carbondale announced Oct. 4 that it has appointed Steve Mitchell as its new Economic Development Director.
Mitchell previously worked as a Technology & Communications Manager for Management, Training & Consulting Corporation.
Mitchell graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a in bachelor’s of science in management and a master’s of business administration.
