Petitions

Request from PirTano Construction on behalf of Comcast for permission to directional bore a 2” conduit to install a fiber optic line on the west side of Bucklin Avenue from the alley north of First Street to Canal Street and related matters. Request La Salle VFW Post 4668, Illinois Valley Animal Rescue, Trinity Catholic Academy and the La Salle Firefighters Association for 2017 Raffle Licenses. Request from the Illinois Valley Dolphins Swim Team to hold a Tag Day Collection on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21, 2017 at area businesses and on Saturday only at the intersection of 11th and Bucklin and related matters. Request from the Knights of Columbus Calvert Council 792 to conduct its annual Tootsie Roll candy sale at area businesses and the intersection of 11th and Bucklin on September 15, 16, and 17, 2017 and related matters. Request from Mark Voss for a Sign Permit for a 6’ x 6’ single face ground sign for Oak Ridge Village, LLC located at 777 N. 30th Road and related matters. Request from the City of Ottawa for an annual donation to the North Central Area Transit (NCAT) and related matters.

Treasurer’s Report for January 2017 showing total cash balances in the La Salle State Bank of $7,760,396.54 and in Hometown National Bank of $143,592.95.

Illinois Department of Revenue Report showing sales tax collected for November 2016 of $79,184.21 and referendum approved sales tax of $34,506.95 for a total of $113,691.16.

Discussion and potential action on Ordinance authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with Fehr Graham for the design and permitting of New Potable Water Well (Well #8 Replacement) totaling $39,750 and related matters. Ordinance Further Regulating Parking within the City of La Salle and related matters.(“Resident parking only between signs” sign at 119 First Street allowing two parallel parking spaces). Ordinance Further Regulating Parking within the City of La Salle and related matters. (No parking back to corner on the east side of Creve Coeur north of 9th Street one car length.)
