Jefferson County Technology Committee met April 20.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Committee Members Present: Adam Ortgiesen, Chairman, Ciff

Lindemann & Wayne Hecks

Absent: Joeymcdermot & Joyce Damron

Others Present: Steve Draege, Tim Marlow, Jeff Williams, Bob Watt, Randyedwards, Clint Taylor & Suzy Tate

No one was present for public input,

Committee Chairman Ortgiesen informed the committee that there is a signed contract with Concepte of Elinois and within that contract it is stated that Concepte maintains our domain. We also receive a bill for domain name hosting and email accounts from Concepte. There have been several issues with the email and how it is Working. Some email boxes are full, unable to deliver and emails being caught in quarantine. Email options were discussed. The Committee decided to askTerry Knowles to research costs for a larger and more reliable carrier for the email carrier and website.

The agreement with Concepte of Illinois was discussed. Committee Chairman Ortgiesen noticed that Concepte's charges were significantly higher for necessary parts for the installation of the WOPSystem. Ortgiesen outlined that not at offices are Covered under the current agreement. A memo will be sent to a non-covered offices under the agreement for the "shopping local" of parts.

The old telephones, Switches and switchboard need to be disposed of. This will be discussed at the Full Board Meeting.

Motion by Wayne Hicks and seconded by Cliff Lindemann to adjourn. Motion Carried. Vote-3 aye, 0 nay
