The Anna-Jonesboro Community High School held a Special Meeting on April 4, 2017. Upon roll call at 7:00 p.m. the following members were present. Dr. Reach, Mr. Hughey, Dr. Blakely, Mr. Edwards, Mrs. Boget and Mr. McGrath. Mr. Housman was not present. Also present was Superintendent Wright and Principal Detering.
On motion by Dr. Blakely and seconded by Mr. Edwards to approve the agenda as written. All members present voting yes. Motion carried.
On motion by Dr. Reach and seconded by Mr. McGrath for the Board to enter into closed session at 7:04 p.m. for the purpose of the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired. 5ILCS 120/2(c)(5) On roll call, all members present voting yes. Motion carried.
On motion by Mr. Edwards seconded by Dr. Blakely to return to open session at 7:48 p.m. On roll call, all members voting yes. Motion carried.
On motion by Mr. Edwards seconded by Mrs. Boget to adjourn the Special Meeting at 7:51p.m. All members present voting yes. Motion carried.
The next regularly scheduled board meeting is Monday, April 24, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Superintendent's Office.
