Unpaid fines for Anna-based campaign committee totaled $10,000 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Anna has overdue fines amounting to a total of $10,000, records obtained by the SW Illinois News show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Committee to Elect James Larry Karraker was the only campaign committee in Anna that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The total that Committee to Elect James Larry Karraker still owes comes from two fines of $5,000, both for violation of board order.
