City of Waterloo Downtown Beautification Committee met June 22.

Present: Aldermen, Jim Hopkins, Stan Darter, and Jim Trantham, Building
Inspector/Code Administrator, Nathan Krebel, Financial Director, Shawn Kennedy,
Mayor Tom Smith, Mr. & Mrs. Jamil Tannous.
1. Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items
None
2. Façade
There was discussion on the applications for the facade grants for Jamil Tannous,
121 North Main and Mike & Lea Thomas 121 South Main. Motion made by Stan
Darter and seconded by Jim Hopkins to approve the application of Jamil Tannous
at 121 North Main. Motion passed unanimously. Motion made by Jim Hopkins
and seconded by Stan Darter to approve the application of Mike & Lea Thomas at
121 South Main. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Comments
Shawn Kennedy explained the façade grant application and funding.
Motion made by Jim Hopkins and seconded by Stan Darter to adjourn the meeting.
Motion passed unanimously.
