City of Waterloo - Street Committee met April 17.
Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:
Present: Aldermen, Thomas, Row, Heller, Fredrick, & Trantham, Director of Public Works, Tim Birk,
Collector-Budget Officer, Shawn Kennedy, Mayor Tom Smith, City Attorney, Dan Hayes and Alderman-elect,
Kyle Buettner.
1. Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items
None
2. Columbia Avenue Drainage
Motion made by Fredrick and seconded by Row to recommend approval of - in the 2018 budget, in
conjunction with the Moore Street phase 5 project, placing storm sewer inlets on Monroe Street.
Motion passed unanimously.
3. Columbia Avenue/Moore Intersection Design
Tim discussed IDOT’s requirements of striping the intersection of Columbia and Moore.

Motion made by Fredrick and seconded by Heller to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
