City of Red Bud Code Enforcement Committee met July 17.

Committee Chairman Esker called the meeting to order at 7:47 p.m.

I.Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting June 19, 2017
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Esker, seconded by Committee Member Hanebutt, to approve the minutes from the June 19, 2017 meeting. Carried
II.Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City
Code Admin. Mueller said there are four different properties which he working on getting cleaned up. Tony Ziegler is complying with cleaning up his property on East Market. Adam Donjon on Flint Street did not comply and skipped out on two court dates and has paid his fine. Chris Knight on Sixth Street & Locust has cleaned out his carport and is moving out of town. Clay Carrico has taken care of weeds and wrecked vehicles, but still needs to move tires.
The Planning Commission has a hearing scheduled at the July18th meeting for Jamie Papenberg, who wants to put in a wellness center in the house on South Main, between the Aubuchon house and Magnolia Place. There is a parking issue.
Committee Chairman Esker asked about painting the “No Parking” on the curbs and parallel parking on the east side of Bloom Street. Designated parking for city hall staff was discussed.
