The calls in Anna included 38 fires - 23 structure fires, nine vehicle fires and six other fires.
In all, the department saw $746,000 in fire loss - or about $19,632 per fire.
The department also received 29 false calls, including two malicious calls and 27 other false calls.
The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related death.
The Anna Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has two active employees and four retired or inactive employees, was $160,111 in debt as of April 2016, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $4,213 for every fire in 2016.
