Franklin County Finance Committee met Sept. 5.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

MINUTES: The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by chair, Alan Price. All members were present, also in attendance were, Franklin County Sheriff, Don Jones, Franklin County Clerk, Greg Woolard, Franklin County Circuit Clerk, Jim Muir, Franklin County Treasurer, Keith Jones, Franklin County Coroner, Marty Leffler, Franklin County Engineer, Mike Rolla, Franklin County Supervisor of Assessments, Cindy Flumm, Franklin County Animal Control Supervisor, Thad Snell, Franklin County Board Administrative Assistant, Gayla Sink, Franklin County Recycling Coordinator, Keith Ward and other interested parties.

Alan Price submitted the County claims, which were approved and signed by all members present.

Tom Vaughn made a motion, seconded by Steve Leek to go into closes session to discuss personnel at 4:12 p.m. all voted aye.

Steve Leek made a motion, seconded by Danny Melvin to come out of closed session at 4:32 p.m., all voted aye, no action was taken during closed session.

Steve Leek made a motion, seconded by Randall Crocker to reopen Road and Bridge, Building and Grounds committee meeting at 4:33 p.m., all voted aye

Franklin County Treasurer, Keith Jones reported on the County finances, discussion followed.

Franklin County Supervisor of Assessments, Cindy Humm presented a proposal from Eagle View concerning mapping and aerial photos, Ms Humm explained same, discussion followed.

Alan Price reported seeking information concerning the maximum for tax lev's and how they can be changed, discussion followed.
