Village of Coulterville Board of Trustees met October 16.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to Order in the Community Center for regular session on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 7:00 pm.

Those present for the roll call were Board members: Dyson, Long, Harvey, Knope, Wine and Campbell.

•Moved by Wine, second by Campbell to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.

• Moved by Wine, second by Long to approve Minutes for October 2, 2017 regular meeting. All Ayes.

•Moved by Knope, second by Long to approve payment of invoices for October 16, 2017. All Ayes.

•Moved by Campbell, second by Harvey to approve September 2017 Treasurer's report. All Ayes.

Public Announcements/Guests:

•Mike Raney asked the board for permission to connect to the village sewer system at a previous meeting. The Coulterville Code Book currently states that no service shall be provided to an applicant outside the corporate limits unless the applicant petitions for annexation. Raney returned and stated that he does not want to annex into the Village. The Board indicated that they would change the code book to offer service outside the corporate limits and create an outside sewer rate. Raney will be responsible for all costs and no sewer main Will be extended. These changes will be voted on at the next meeting.

Reports And Communications:

•Financial report: Nothing to report.

•Cemetery report: Nothing to report.

•Sewer report: Nothing to report.

•Park report: The new playground is complete. Benches will be added between the circle drive and playground so that cars cannot drive too close to where the children play.

•Recycle/Trash report: Nothing to report.

•Water report: The rain last week added 3% inches to the lake.

•Street report: Scott Wine will look in to repairs for the portion of Cemetery Road that is outside the corporate limits. Rock is needed for the circle drive near the new playground.

Public Comment:

•Sue Reitz said that the Library will host a lasagna dinner fund raiser Friday evening.

New Business:

•Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve resolution 17-1016 granting permission to sign and execute the intergovernmental cooperation agreement for utility bill collections. All Ayes.

• Moved by Wine, second by Campbell to approve hiring Robert O'Rear as a part time police officer. All Ayes.

•Moved by Wine, second by Dyson to approve a building permit for a room addition at 1004 S. Main. All Ayes.

•Moved by Dyson, second by Campbell to adjourn at 7:40 pm. All Ayes.
