Waltonville Community Unit School District 1 Board met October 26.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

Regular Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m. Present: Anderson, Eastham, Norris, and Williams. Absent; Banach, Frick and Walker.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Webb to approve the minutes of the September 28th, 2017 Regular Meeting. Yea; Anderson, Eastham, Norris and Williams. Nay: None. Motion carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Williams to approve the bills and treasurer's report and additional bills totaling $933,97 (Lee's $377.70, Easton's $60.00, Frontier $445.87, & Wes Rogers $50,40), Yea; Anderson, Eastham, Norris, and Williams, Nay: None. Motion carried.

Board agreed it was ok for Frontier & Pitney Bowes to be mailed to keep from getting late fees, Sandy Frick arrived at 6:40 p.m.

Recognition of public, Mandy Bazillion discussed Inock cardiac arrest/epr, between games on February 6th, 2018,

Motion to go into closed session at 6:50 p.m. by Williams, seconded by Anderson, for the purpose of Discussing the Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance or Dismissal of Specific Employees, and Student Issues.

Yea; Anderson, Eastham, Frick, Norris and Williams, Nay: None. Motion Carried,

Walker arrived at 7:00 p.m.

Motion by Frick, Seconded by Anderson to go into open session at 7:10 p.m. Yea: Anderson, Eastham, Frick, Norris, Walker and Williams, Nay: None, Motion carried,

Motion by Frick, Seconded by Norris to reimburse Anthony Lowery for 9 credit hours for the Drivers Education Endorsement. Yea: Anderson, Eastham, Frick, Norris, Walker and Williams, Nay: None. Motion carried.

Motion by Sandy, Seconded by Walker to approve Grade School vacation requests. Yea: Anderson, Eastham, Frick, Norris, Walker and Williams, Nay: None, Motion carried,

Motion by Frick, Seconded by Walker to approve High School vacation requests, Yea: Anderson, Eastham, Frick, Norris, Walker and Williams, Nay: None. Motion carried.

Motion by Sandy, Seconded by Walker to move the November & December board meetings to November 21, 2017 and December 21, 2017. Yea: Anderson, Eastham, Frick, Norris, Walker, and Williams. Nay: None, Motion carried.

Motion by Williams, Seconded by Frick to approve course reimbursement for Kari Lappin once completed. Yea; Anderson, Eastham, Frick, Norris, Walker, and Williams. Nay: None. Motion carried.

Mrs. Waggoner gave Principal's report.

Discussion of purchase of Sod, no action taken.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Williams to adjourn at 8:10 p.m.
