Regular Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m. Present: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker Absent: Frick and Williams.
Motion by Walker, Seconded by Anderson to approve the minutes of the August 10th, 2017 Special meeting and the August 24th, 2017 Regular Meeting. Yea; Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion carried.
Motion by Walker, Seconded by Eastham to approve the bills and treasurer's report and additional bills totaling $977.18 (Stumps $101.98, Coach House $733.00, & ILMO $142,20).
Yea: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker, Nay: None. Motion carried,
Motion to go into closed session at 6:34 p.m. by Walker, seconded by Banach for the purpose of Discussing the Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance or Dismissal of Specific Employees, and Student Issues.
Yea; Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris and Walker, Nay: None, Motion Carried,
Motion by Walker, Seconded by Anderson to go into open session at 7:00 P.M. Motion by Banach, Seconded by Walker to approve the following vacations: Grade School student Oct 16th-24th, High School student Nov 1st-10th, Grade School student Sept 25th-Oct 2nd, Grade School student Oct 10th-16th, and Grade School student Oct 16th-20th, Yea: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion carried.
Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker to approve Trunk or Treat. Yea; Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion carried.
Drivers Education Training reimbursement, tabled,
Motion by Banach, Seconded by Anderson to approve the following field trips: FFA overnight trip in October, 7th grade trip to Riverfront, and 8th grade trip to STL Holocaust: Yea: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker, Nay: None, Motion carried.
Motion by Eastham, Seconded by Banach to hire Anthony Lowery as assistant Baseball Coach for the 2017/2018 school year. Yea: Banach, Eastham, and Norris. Abstain: Anderson and Walker. Motion carried.
Motion by Walker, Seconded by Eastham to approve Jasie Kitowski as a second cheer coach for Grade school for 2017/2018, Yea: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion carried.
Motion by Anderson, Seconded Walker to accept the resignation of Kaci Kirkpatrick. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker, Nay: None. Motion carried.
Motion by Walker, Seconded by Anderson to hire Sharon Knox as full time aide effective 9/29/17. Yea; Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion carried,
Motion by Walker, Seconded by Eastham to adopt the 2017/2018 budget. Yea; Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker, Nay: None. Motion carried.
Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Banach to approve the 2nd reading with exclusions of: 2120 E1, 7.10D, 7,270, 8.90, and 8,110, but to accept the 7.10 footnote. Yea; Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Norris, and Walker, Nay: None. Motion carried.
