City of Waterloo - Planning & Annexation Committee met October 20.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Meeting called to order at 10:00am with the following committee members in attendance, aldermen Russ Row, Clyde Heller and Steve Notheisen. Mayor Tom Smith, Nathan Krebel, Jim Nagel, Dennis Brand and Chuck& Lisa Kueper were also present.

Agenda item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda items. Chuck & Lisa Kueper talked to the committee about their shaved ice trailer. They will be at the next Ordinance Committee meeting.

Agenda Item 2: Approval of the Joint Ordinance & Planning Committee Meeting on 10-10-17. A motion was made to approve the minutes by Steve Notheisen and a second by Clyde Heller. The motion passed.

Agenda item 3: JLP Homes Proposal for Northwinds Lot #5. Item 3 was struck from the agenda.

Agenda item 4: Shady Springs Residences. Jim Nagel presented the committee the future plans of Condos/apartments to be built in Shady Springs. Discussion

Agenda item 5: Mo. County Fairgrounds Development Plan. Jim Nagel presented the committee plans the fairgrounds have to construct a new building. Discussion

Agenda item 6: Remlock Phase 3. Jim Nagel presented the committee plans submitted by developer, Dennis Brand, on the use of the common ground. After discussion, Jim will be waiting for more information from Dennis on this area.

Agenda item &: Stubborn German. Nathan Krebel brought to our attention a situation that has happened and/or happening at the brewery. Discussion

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Steve Notheisen and second by Clyde Heller. Meeting adjourned at 11:25 am.
