Village of Coulterville Board of Trustees met December 4.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
The Village Board of Coulterville was called to Order in the Community Center for regular session On Monday, December 4, 2017 at 7:00 pm.
Those present for the roll call were Board members: Long, Harvey, Knope, Wine and Campbell. Dyson was absent.
•Moved by Knope, second by Campbell to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.
•Moved by Campbell, second by Wine to approve Minutes for November 20, 2017 regular meeting. All Ayes.
•Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve payment of invoices for December 4, 2017 with addition of Regions Bank Card for $93.14. All Ayes.
Reports And Communications:
•Financial report: Nothing to report.
•Cemetery report: Nothing to report
•Sewer report: Nothing to report.
•Park report: The Village Park has been decorated by the Holiday Association.
•Recycle/Trash report: People who have Monday pickup will be moved to Tuesday Dec. 26th & Jan. 2nd for the Christmas and New Year Monday Holidays. All Wednesday pickups will remain the same.
•Water report: Nothing to report
•Street report: Mayor Marlow brought up that the Village has spent money to upgrade its infrastructure (storm sewers, lift stations and Water plant) but that the public does not see these needed improvements. He would like the committees to begin thinking of Ways to improve the looks of the Village. It was discussed that sidewalks and curbing repairs along Grant Street should be the focus in the upcoming year.
Public Announcements/Guests:
•Parents can sign up children at Village Hall for the Shop with a Cop and Vet program. The shopping will be at Walmart on Dec. 16" at 3:00 pm.
• The Christmas lighting contest winners will be announced at the Dec. 18" board meeting.
Public Comment:
•Scott Rust with the Holiday Association asked the Village to sponsor and Volunteer an evening at the park. The Board will vote next meeting to approve the sponsorship, several will check schedules and will signup at he next meeting.
New Business:
•Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve Letter of Exclusivity for Danny Ruppert with Commercial Energy Consultants to conduct an auction for 8 commercial energy accounts. These accounts are too large for the residential aggregation. Ruppert Will present the findings at the next meeting. All Ayes.
•Moved by Campbell, second by Long to approve the purchase of a used commerical lawnmower up to $5,000.00 upon approval of the machine by Wine. All Ayes.
•Moved by Wine, second by Harvey to approve bonuses of $200.00 for full time employees and $100.00 for part time employees. All Ayes.
