City of Red Bud Cultural Committee met November 20.

Committee Members Present:Mike Reed, Kyle Donjon, Glenn Linnertz, Curt Guebert
Committee Members Absent:Clem Esker
Council Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, David Friess, Susan Harbaugh
Others Present:Mayor Tim Lowry, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, City Clerk Joanne Cowell, Finance Clerk Dustin Ziebold
Others Absent:Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham
Committee Chairman Reed called the meeting to order at 7:22 p.m.
Old Business
I.150th Year Celebration in 2017
Poetker reported that the committee decided they did not have time to organize a holiday lighting contest, maybe next year. December 9th is the Holiday Voices event and the final event will be the New Year’s Eve Gala at the Opera House Bistro.
New Business
I.Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting October 16, 2017
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Reed, seconded by Committee Member Linnertz, to approve the minutes from the October 16, 2017 meeting. Carried
II.Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City
Mayor Lowry suggested recognizing the 150 Committee, possibly in January, for a job well done and asked everyone to give it some thought.
