City of Waterloo Community Center Committee met March 5.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
Meeting called to order at 6:15 pm with the following committee members in attendance,
Aldermen Russ Row, Stan Darter and Clyde Heller, Russ Thomas, Jim Hopkins, Mayor Tom Smith, Nate Krebel, Shawn Kennedy and Glen Lutz. Jim Trantham, Steve Notheisen, Dan Hayes and Tim Birk were also present.
Agenda Item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items: None
Agenda Item 2: Old Firehouse: The appraisal was discussed; writing a contract to sell the property was discussed as well. A motion to recommend the property to be rezoned was made by Russ Thomas and second by Stan Darter. Motion passed unanimously.
Agenda tem3: Comments: Discussion about the new building, building site and type of building.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Clyde Heller and second by Glen Lutz. Meeting adjourned at 6:45 pm.
