City of Waterloo Personnel Committee met March 5.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
Meeting called to order at 6:45 pm with the following committee members in attendance,
Aldermen Russ Row, Jim Trentham, Stan Darter, Clyde Heller and Kyle Buettner. Mayor Tom Smith, Russ Thomas, Steve Notheisen, Jim Hopkins, Shawn Kennedy, Tim Birk and Dan Hayes were also present.
Agenda Item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items. None
Agenda Item 2: Human Resources: Shawn Kennedy brought up the need to hire a Human Resource person. She handed out a Job Summary of what the duties and responsibilities of this position would entail. After discussion, a motion to hire a person for this position was made by Jim Trantham and second by Clyde Heller, yea: Trantham, Heller, Row, Buettner – Nay: Darter.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Stan Darter and second by Kyle Buettner.
Meeting adjourned at 7:05 pm.
