Steeleville Community Unit School District 138 Board met May 30.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

Roll Call of Members: Lisa Ernsting Present

Fred Frederking Present

Jim Mevert Present

Tim Mitchell Present

Lisa Lowry-Rohlfing Absent (Arrived 7:02 p.m.)

Rick Smith Present

Korey Bockhorn Present

Others Present: Stephanie Mulholland, Jennifer Haertling, Earl Kleindon, Travis Lott and Kylie Mueller.

1. Earl Kleindon, Baysinger Architects, presented bid information for the roofing and HVAC projects. Tim Mitchell moved to accept the roofing work-base bid from Geissler Roofing Co. and the HVAC work base-bid and alternate bids 2 and 3 from J & R Mechanical. Fred Frederking seconded the motion.

A Roll Call vote was taken: Mitchell – Aye; Frederking – Aye; Ernsting – Aye; Mevert – Aye;

Lowry-Rohlfing – Aye; Smith – Aye; Bockhorn – Aye.

Motion Carried: 7 – Aye, 0 – Nay, 0-Absent

2. Lisa Lowry-Rohlfing moved to approve the bond payment to Commerce Bank in the amount of $49,781.25. Jim Mevert seconded the motion.

A Roll Call vote was taken: Lowry-Rohlfing – Aye; Mevert – Aye; Ernsting – Aye; Frederking –

Aye; Mitchell – Aye; Smith – Aye; Bockhorn – Aye.

Motion Carried: 7 – Aye, 0 – Nay, 0-Absent

3. Rick Smith moved to accept the resignation of Valerie Ruebusch as Steeleville High School English Teacher. Lisa Ernsting seconded the motion.

A Roll Call vote was taken: Smith – Aye; Ernsting – Aye; Frederking – Aye; Mevert – Aye;

Mitchell – Aye; Lowry-Rohlfling – Aye; Bockhorn – Aye.

Motion Carried: 7 – Aye, 0 – Nay, 0-Absent

4. Dr. Mulholland informed the board that the TIF agreement with the Village of Steeleville was not yet completed. There will be a special school board meeting on Monday, May 7, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. to consider and approve the TIF Agreement with the Village of Steeleville.

5. Rick Smith moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 p.m. Jim Mevert seconded the motion.
