1. Lisa Lowry-Rohlfing moved to approve the following consent agenda items as presented by Superintendent, Stephanie Mulholland. Rick Smith seconded the motion.
A. Approval of Minutes
1. Regular Meeting – March 19, 2018
B. Approve Itemized Bills for April 2018
C. Approve Estimated Payroll – April 2018
A Roll Call vote was taken: Lowry-Rohlfing- Aye; Smith-Aye; Ernsting-Aye; Frederking-Aye;

2. No Visitors
3. Jamie Petrowske, Kindergarten teacher, and Kristin Wedemeyer, First Grade teacher, gave curriculum reports.
4. Fred Frederking moved to approve the amended 2017-2018 School Calendar to include April 3, 2018, as a non-attendance day and to change the last day of school to a half day school improvement day on May 23, 2018. Jim Mevert seconded the motion.
A Roll Call vote was taken: Frederking-Aye; Mevert-Aye; Ernsting-Aye; Mitchell-Aye; LowryRohlfing-Aye;
Smith-Aye; Bockhorn-Aye.

5. Informational Items on the Agenda
A. Budget Summary, Cash Fund Balances, Activity Fund Balances
B. Assistant Superintendent’s Report
1. The city plans to have the paperwork ready for the proposed TIF agreement for the May meeting. They will present agreement at their May meeting as well.
2. Korey Bockhorn will represent the Board at High School graduation on May 20, 2018.
3. Baccalaureate will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Baptist Church in Steeleville. Everyone is invited to attend.
4. Project graduation will be held from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2018.
5. Baseball, softball and track season are currently in progress.
6. Steeleville will host the Steeleville softball/baseball tournament on April 28, 2018.
7. Steeleville High School will be hosting a baseball regional this year.
C. Board members were asked if the received their Statement of Economic Interest. No one has received the statement from the Randolph County Courthouse. The normal deadline for the form is May 1, 2018.
D. Dr. Mulholland updated the board on the transition of new employees. She reported that
Cindy Troue, Janae Yates and Kylie Mueller are doing a fantastic job learning their new positions.
Training has been scheduled for late next week on the student management software.
E. Dr. Mulholland reminded the board of the special board meeting on Monday, April 30, 2018.
The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. to review and accept bids for summer maintenance projects.
F. Dr. Mulholland informed the board that the June meeting will be changed to June 25, 2018, to satisfy the requirement of the budget being on display for 30 days.
6. Rick Smith moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:08 p.m. Lisa Ernsting seconded the motion.
