A.Plaque Presentations: Planning Commission Members Richard Roehrkasse & Albert Gregson

Mayor Lowry announced that Albert Gregson had served on the Planning Commission from 1998-2018 and Richard Roehrkasse from 2000-2018. Neither was able to attend the meeting, but the Mayor will be presenting them with plaques of appreciation for their service.

F.Metro-Ag Contract (Public Works-March 19, 2018)

Authorization to approve entering into the contract with Metro-Ag Inc.

G.Training Request – Rick Timmons (Public Works)

Approval of authorization to send Richard Timmons to training entitled “Water Tanks and Reservoirs O-M. It was on April 12th in Benton, IL; registration fee was $56.00 and transportation was required.

H.2018 IMEA/IMUA Annual Conference (Public Works)

Authorization to approve sending the Mayor and Josh Eckart to training entitled “2018 IMUA/IMEA Annual Conference & Trade Show” on May 31 – June 1, 2018 in Springfield, IL

I.Sewer Adjustment – 320 S. Main St. (Public Works)

Authorization to approve crediting the account at 320 South Main Street, Lois Mesnarich for $925.27 for a water leak that did not enter the sewer system

4.Transfer of Funds

a.Transfer of Funds from Parks Capital Plan to Operating Account for Sandblasting – Jerry Hotop Painting LLC

Motion made by Council Member Harbaugh, seconded by Council Member Reed, to approve authorization to transfer funds from parks capital plan to parks operating account for sandblasting in the amount of $18,220. b.Authorization to Open New Hotel/Motel Tax Account and Transfer Funds

Motion made by Council Member Harbaugh, seconded by Council Member Hanebutt, to approve authorization to open a new Hotel/Motel Tax Account and to transfer funds from the general fund account. Motion made by Council Member Linnertz, seconded by Council Member Donjon, to approve authorization to credit the account at 1107 S. Main Street, Weir Chevrolet, in the amount of $1,060.52. Motion made by Council Member Reed, seconded by Council Member Friess, to authorize the approval of the requests from Red Bud Chamber of Commerce for their Moonlight Madness Event on June 9, 2018 and approve Resolution No. 18-002, “A Resolution Authorizing Approval Of The Street Closing For The Red Bud Chamber Of Commerce Moonlight Madness.” The vote was as follows: Reed, aye; Hanebutt, aye; Linnertz, aye; Friess, aye; Donjon, aye; Harbaugh, aye; Guebert, aye. 2.Red Bud Fire Department Picnic Requests and Resolution No. 18-003

3.Request from VFW to Collect at 4-Way for Relief Fund – May 25, 2018

Pam Poetker said that Mobile Home Aide background check had just come back from the police department today. Eli Aubuchon from the Sports Complex is requesting they man a food stand on May 17-18. Poetker is planning on a special council meeting on May 21, 2018 after committee meetings, because it should have been on the agenda for tonight’s meeting.
