City of Red Bud Finance Committee met May 21.

Old Business
Code of Ordinances Rewriting and Restructuring Process Update
Attorney Ray has spent $13,469.50 on the code of ordinances update and work is continuing.
Utility Fund Projections
Handled earlier under Public Works Committee
III.TIF/Enterprise Zone
Pam Poetker gave an update on the Enterprise Zone Concept.
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Harbaugh, seconded by Committee Member Hanebutt, to approve the designation of $6,000 to participate in the Enterprise Zone. Carried
IV.Employee Pay Raises
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Harbaugh, seconded by Committee Member Hanebutt, to approve a 2% pay increase for City of Red Bud employees, effective with the first full pay period in May. Carried
V.Insurance and Raises for Elected Officials
Reed said he has been working on this with Dustin Ziebold and will hopefully have something to share at the July meeting, with a goal of having a decision by August.
VI.Hess/Stines Litigations – Potential Executive Session
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Harbaugh, seconded by Committee Member Reed, to recess into executive session to discuss Hess/Stines litigation. Carried

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Harbaugh, seconded by Committee Member Friess, to approve the minutes from the April 16, 2018 meetings. Carried

There are none.
III.Agreement for City Physician Services
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Harbaugh, seconded by Committee Member Reed, to approve authorization to enter into a contract with Red Bud Regional Clinic Company for services. Carried
