Pinckneyville Fire Department responded to 14 calls in 2017 - 12.5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Pinckneyville included nine fires - nine structure fires.

In all, the department saw $1,046,500 in fire loss - or about $116,278 per fire.

The department also received five false calls.

The Pinckneyville Fire Department had an annual budget of $126,150 in 2017.
