City of Red Bud Code Enforcement Committee met May 21.

Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting April 16, 2018
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Esker, seconded by Committee Member Reed to approve the minutes from the April 16, 2018 meeting. Carried
II.Residential Property Driveways
Eileen and Mike Seibold expressed their concern with some parking issues in their neighborhood. After discussion, Jeff Mueller was instructed to work with the planning commission in reviewing the driveway ordinance; in particular, if adding to an existing driveway, the addition should be the same surface as the driveway. Also, boat, trailer and cars parking in the grass were discussed.
III.East Industrial Park – Archeological Survey Phase I
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Esker, seconded by Committee Member Harbaugh to approve entering into an agreement with American Resources Group, Ltd., NTE $2,945.00 to complete the Phase I archeological survey. Carried
IV.Driveway/Fence Property Offsets
Jeff Mueller also suggested the planning commission reviewing the driveway/fence property offsets ordinance. The committee agreed.
V.East Industrial Park Tree Barrier
Mueller reported that six trees at the East Industrial Park barrier and one at the sports complex have died and are no longer under warranty. The six trees at the EIP are on Mike Moll’s property and the city is no longer responsible for the barrier. Jeff was instructed to inform Mike Moll that we will replace trees, just as a courtesy, but, in the future, it is his responsibility.
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Esker, seconded by Committee Member Harbaugh to approve replacing the seven trees from Shady Creek Nursery at $125/each, total of $875. Carried
