Approval of FOP Contract – May 1, 2018 – April 30, 2021
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Friess, to approve the FOP contract. Carried
New Business
I.Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – April 16, 2018 Meeting
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve the minutes from the April 16, 2018 meeting. Carried
II.Department Activity Report and Comparison Report
The monthly department activity report was included in the packets.
III.Authorization to Purchase Squad Cars/Equipment
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve authorization to purchase two new Dodge Chargers plus equipment, NTE $65,000. Carried
IV.Authorization to Purchase Laptops
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Linnertz, to approve authorization to purchase two new Panasonic Toughbook 54 Prime Laptop from Americom for $7,954. Carried
V.Authorization to Hire a Part-Time Patrolman
Chief Brittingham is requesting hiring another full time officer. He was instructed to get numbers together for the council meeting.
