City of Chester Parks & Recreation Committee met April 18.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
Present: Collette Powley, Steve Jany, Chris Koeneman, Brandy Maes, Jessica Bland, Sarah Roth Absent: Patti Carter and Melinda Pierson.
Motion by Jessica to dispense with the reading of the previous meetings minutes and to approve them as distributed via email. Seconded by Sarah. Motion carries.
Marketing: No report.
Cole Park report: After a discussion with Mayor Page, we are going to create a master plan for Cole Park with 1-year, 3-year, 10-year goals, etc. Brandy is appointing herself, Sarah, and Jessica to a Cole Park Master Plan Committee.
Easter egg hunt at Cole Park was successful despite the inclement weather

Community survey: we are going to put any surveys on hold for now while we work on the Cole Park master plan
