City of Red Bud Cultural Committee met April 16.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Committee Members Present: Mike Reed, Kyle Donjon, Clem Esker, Glenn Linnertz, Curt Guebert

Council Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, David Friess, Susan Harbaugh

Others Present:Mayor Tim Lowry, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Committee Chairman Reed called the meeting to order at 7:27 P.M.

New Business

i. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting March 19, 2018

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Reed, seconded by Committee Member Linnertz, to approve the minutes from the March 19, 2018 meeting. Carried

ii. Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Reed, seconded by Committee Member Esker to approve authorization to sponsor a hole for $50 and a team for $250 for the Red Bud Chamber Golf Scramble on May 18th.

iii. IllinoiSouth Tourism Letter

Recommendation made by Committee Member Esker, seconded by Committee Chairman Reed, to approve the authorization to pay for a bronze membership for $500 for the IllinoiSouth Tourism. Carried

iv. Shelter House at Fort Kaskaskia – Request for Funding

Recommendation made by Committee Member Esker, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve the authorization to contribute $1,000 in support of the Shelter House at Fort Kaskaskia. Carried

V. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None

Meeting was adjourned at 7:37 P.M.
