City of Columbia issued the following announcement on June 27.
Beginning the week of July 2, 2018, the City’s contractor Rooter’s American Maintenance, Inc. and Electrico, Inc. will begin setting up traffic control, layout, saw cutting, and material staging.
Beginning the week of July 9, 2018, Gall Road will be closed.
The closure is anticipated to be closed for 6 weeks. The roadway will be re-opened by August 17, 2018.
During closure, a marked detour will direct traffic from Gall Road to IL 3 via Steppig Road, D Road, and Valmeyer Road.
