City of Columbia issued the following announcement on Aug. 9.
Mayor Pro Tem, Mary Ellen Niemietz, accepted a donation made to the PLAY Foundation from The Sofia and Elmer Oerter Charitable Foundation at Monday's City Council meeting.
The City will use the donation to purchase replica "Columbia City Limit" signs that were once placed along the GM&O Railroad.
The signs will be placed on the new GM&O Heritage Trail. You can learn more about the Trail at http://www.columbiatrail.net/
