School discipline: Which SW Illinois districts reported the most suspensions due to dangerous weapons?

Sparta Community Unit School District 140, Valmeyer Community Unit School District 3 and Chester Community Unit School District 139 reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to a dangerous weapon during the 2016-17 school year in SW Illinois, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
