City of Waterloo Personnel Committee met Sept. 4.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm with the following committee members in attendance, Aldermen Russ Row, Jim Trentham, Stan Darter, Clyde Heller and Kyle Buettner. Mayor Tom Smith, Jim Hopkins, Shawn Kennedy, Tim Birk, Dan Hayes, Mike Douglas and Jeff Prosise were also present.
Agenda Item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items. None
Agenda Item 2: Personnel: Shawn Kennedy brought to the committees attention that the HR position offered to Barbra Stafford was turned down. The committee gave consent to Shawn to pursue the next candidate. An ordinance authorizing the position of HR was handed out for review.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Kyle Buettner and second by Clyde Heller. Meeting adjourned at 7:08 pm.
