Water Main Replacements in Willisville
The Village of Willisville is currently in the process of replacing approximately 10,000’ of water mains within the village. These water mains replace undersized mains. Funding for this project was provided by a low interest loan from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s Public Water Supply Loan Program (PWSLP). The contractor currently has put the watermains in the ground and has begun the process of reconnecting all homes to these new mains.
As they continue to work there will continue to be disturbance to our streets and yards but once the contractor has connected all the services and capped the old mains, they will begin the process to clean up the Village of the remnants of construction.
