Tamaroa Elementary School issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
It is time for the 1st Quarter "Academic Growth" drawings!
Our students take occasional tests to measure their academic progress in Math and Reading. The goal is to see growth in their skills from the previous nine weeks, which was the beginning of the school year. Each student is competing against themselves to show that they have worked hard and learned a great deal since the beginning of the school year.
Every student that shows growth is entered into a drawing for a gift card and a winner is selected for the K-4 group and the 5-8 group.
Winners for the 1st Quarter are Korbin Pike and Andrew Knapp. Congratulations and thank you for working so hard to improve academically!
