BRAUN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME: REBA'S OBITUARY

Braun Family Funeral Home issued the following announcement.

Reba Lavern Kilhafner nee Thompson 85 of Columbia, IL., formerly of Cahokia, IL., born August 10, 1933 in Lilbourn, MO., passed away on Wednesday November 7, 2018 at Reflections in Columbia, IL.

Reba worked for Dr. Rao's office for many years in Cahokia, IL., was a former member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, IL.

Preceded in death by her husband Thomas Eugene Kilhafner Sr. a son Thomas Eugene Kilhafner Jr. her parents Joseph and Agnes Blankenship, Thompson, 2 sisters Carolyn Barnett and Pamela Thompson a brother J.E. Thompson. Sister-in-law Mia Thompson.

Surviving are her children, Pamela (Everett) Bohnestiehl of St. Jacob, IL., Vonda (Ed) Roedel of St. Louis, MO., Elisa (Albert) Beck of Millstadt, IL., Roderick (Lisa) Kilhafner of Waterloo, IL.,and Melissa (Paul) Whittington of Valmeyer, IL. 1 sister Ruth Ann (Clifford) Downs of Hillsboro, MO. Brother-in-law Lee Wayne Barnett. 6 grandchildren, Paul Whittington Jr., Roderick Kilhafner Jr., Albert Beck III, Alex Beck, Brianna Whittington, Luke Kilhafner. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 9, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd Columbia, IL.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday November 10, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, IL. with Father Linus Umoren officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, MO.
