Columbia Animal Hospital issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.
We have been letting QUEENIE roam the hospital. She has ventured from her cage further everyday. Today she made to my office, jumped on my lap and is so relaxed. She absolutely loves attention. Here is her story:
FOR ADOPTION: QUEENIE
FEMALE. ~10-12 years old. Found as a stray. Has been here a few months while we were putting weight on her. She is spayed. Declawed. Vaccinated. Microchipped. FeLv/FIV NEGATIVE. Has had senior bloodwork done. Dr Bartlett reports that she has very small kidneys which may lead to kidney disease in the future. It is best if she be kept on a kidney diet. Monitoring bloodwork once a year is also suggested. Her bloodwork has been perfectly normal. She is extremely sweet. She is perfectly content to sleep most of the day. If interested in meeting Queenie.PLEASE stop by.
