Addie "Ann" Hainline, nee Dick, 84, of Cahokia, Illinois, born August 13, 1934 in Lynnville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Evelyn's Hospice House in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Ann was retired from the Cahokia Police Dept. where she was a Police Matron and the Administrative Assistant to the chief. She was a member of the former First Christian Church in Cahokia and attended Maplewood Park Baptist Church in Cahokia, IL. She was a member of Cahokia Professional Business Women's Club. Ann enjoyed writing and wrote articles for the former Cahokia Herald. She was supportive of the Cahokia Optimist Club. Ann made the best banana pudding and chocolate pie on earth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Allie Dick; four brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are her loving husband, of 67 years, John Hainline, Jr.; a son, David (Kristi) Hainline of Chicago, IL.; a grandson, John Thomas "Jake" Hainline of Chicago, IL. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
