Analysis: Red Bud administrators rank 607th in state for average pay

The 2018 average is 0.9% lower than in 2014 and 1% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 16.1% less than the state average of $107,279.
Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.
The Randolph County school district enrolled 1014 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 203 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
